May Athlete of the Month
Lovely Shahmeen, never timid, pitched up on day one and got cracking with her training. Week in, week out Shahmeen can be found on the hill or around the track klapping it with everything she has. Relentless and an absolute try hard she sprinted her way into the Intermediate test week with mere seconds to spare. She's the poster girl for "WE DO HARD THINGS". We cant be more proud of the progress she has made over the past year of joining the crew.
When did you join MLH?
I joined MLH in January 2023. I love that everyone is welcoming of new members.
What is your favourite food?
I love a good steak-any day.
What music do you listen to when you run?
I listen to old school R&B when I run.
Who is your running hero?
My running hero is Gerda Steyn. I couldn’t contain my excitement when I saw her running her final kms to win the Two Oceans.
