Kendra Stewart

April Athlete of the Month

Kendra - The heart of MLH. This shy girl pitched up one fateful Tuesday on a night when we were running Edinburgh Drive Challenge. We honestly thought we'd never see her again. Two years later and Kendra is the heart beat of the crew. Nothing goes down without her involvement. She's Miss MLH to most. Besides that, she's become a rockstar athlete, attacking PB's on the regular, whilst establishing herself as the people's pace setter. Thanks Kenny for making all of this work. Heres a little get to know her:


1. What's your best bit of advice for new runners?

Run slower than you think you need to, especially when trying to build up distance.


2. What's your favourite food?

Mac and cheese.


3. When or why did you join MLH?

I was driving home from walking my dogs at Rhodes mem and saw this bunch of crazy people running up and down the hill. They looked like they were having fun, and I'd been trying to get back in to running (unsucessfully), so i rolled down the window and asked to join. The rest is history.
