April Athlete of the Month
It's an easy nomination for Angelo this month as he took on the role of Ultra Fun Bus driver for the Road2Oceans Training. Carefully navigating his Group 3 over 11 weeks, making sure he had 100% finish rate from all of his passengers. When it came time to nominate he quickly received the most nominations. Angelo is often the reason we have to change the WhatsApp group to Admin Only. Last year he won the "Spammer Award" at the end-of-year function. Here's what he had to say:
Q: Who is your running hero?
A: Anyone who has the courage to lace up and be a part of the running family. Especially the back markers.
Q: What's your favourite Distance / Race
A: 30km - John Korasie
Q: When did you get into running and why?
A: 2014 - I wanted to only ever do 1 fucking 2 oceans half marathon. Now I’m in my moer.
